The story is one of a lost tribe who lived from the American land. During the summer, the sun was hot, the wind strong, and the atmosphere heavy. Faces stained with black, this tribe proudly wore the fur garments made with their care.
A knowledge which brought the tribe a reputation, recognized for their work. Strips of fox fur, lined each side with fringes of leather or goat hair, brought a light aspect during warmer times. The pieces created a reassuring envelope for the spirit thus giving a signification of belonging to the tribe.
The large fox fur shoulders together with the red leather lining achieved the effect of intimidating rival tribes. The lacing detail of the back, which followed the spinal column, brought a flow and a sense of force to the silhouette.
